This past weekend I spent my days {and nights} crafting.

I made jeweled headbands...
a couple statement necklaces...
and even a handful of magnets...
Oh, and I also made a website directed at raising money for a cause. Essentially, in the past 72 hours, I've spent at least half of my time trying to make a difference, trying to make "Crafting For Cause" an established relief effort for those directly affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. So, while I spend my time organizing, crafting, and getting the word out, I hope you choose to spend 5 minutes of your time perusing the participating Etsy shops...and if you choose to buy an item or two, well that's your prerogative.

Thanks and happy crafting!

**{FYI - this week's blog posts will be dedicated to showing you how to make the above crafts so check back in throughout the week for those how-to guides!}**

Thanks, Steph! And YES, here's the link to my Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/CraftingForCause. All store proceeds go to the special Sandy Hook relief fund via the United Way of Western Connecticut charity!
